Sleepless Nights...

At the middle of our research writing, I and my classmate talked to Mam Kleng, our head mentor and Chief of the FSTD. We informed her that we need to do some library works and extensive journal readings. We also asked her permission if she would allow us to be not “physically present” in most days of that week but we will come if we have inquiries. She nodded and she understands our situation. “Thank you Ma’am!”

Sleepless nights and some “no ligo” days came next. My wife would just ‘kiss me good night’ before going to bed and then wake up saying in the morning “natulog ka ba?” I just say a simple “Yes” to prevent further discussion, because she might ask “where?”, “what time?” and so on…

We go back to the office every time we had a query then continue with our research and other requirements……
